Mr. Doug Sporn is an independent consultant on generic pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and a member of the Board of the Adventist Behavioral Health System. He was Divisional Vice President, Pharmaceutical Development and Regulatory Affairs at Abbott Laboratories. Before joining Abbott in 2000, Mr. Sporn had been at FDA where he was Director of the Office of Generic Drugs (OGD), Deputy Director, OGD and Deputy Director, Office of Pharmaceutical Science in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). Prior to joining CDER in 1990, Mr. Sporn was Director of Program Evaluation and Director of Planning in FDA's Office of the Commissioner.
